Everyone Needs a Band

Our Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in October 2020 by Kim Nicholson in honor of her son Jarred who passed by suicide on May 10, 2020 at the age of 19.

Our mission is to enrich lives by providing opportunities to unite and grow through the Healing Power of Music.

We support our local schools, individuals, and community partners by providing funding and opportunities for everyone to have access to the Healing Power of Music.

Mental Health / LGBTQIA+ / Substance Abuse

Our services provide avenues for those who struggle to find a connection, expressing emotions, experience unity, and acceptance can be found through the Universal Language of Music.

Our Services

Music Scholarships

Partnerning with MusicLife in Chestertown Md, we provide financial support to those in need that are seeking to participate in any instrument or voice lesson.

Instrument Donation Program

We accept instrument donations, have them refurbished if necessary, then donate the instruments to individuals and school students that are in need.

Program Support

Providing financial support to organizations that align with our mission and vision. Support local School Music Programs and nonprofits that are server Veterans, the LGBTQIA+ community, and those struggling with substance abuse and mental health disorders.
